  1983. Our founders: Marion Brown\, Charlotte Gunn\, Helen Hod
 ges\, and Barbara Tucker began what is now ConnectionsPlus He
 althcare + Hospice. In 2023\, Rockbridge Area Hospice and Mou
 ntain Regional Hospice joined together under a new name: Co
 nnectionsPlus Healthcare + Hospice. With a name that reflect
 s all we do With even more resources to serve the communitie
 s we love With greater reach to those who need us With the s
 ame excellent staff and level of caring Our Mission: "We pr
 ovide compassionate care and comfort to our neighbors living
  with serious illness so they and their families can enjoy l
 ife for as long as possible." As the only local non-profit h
 ealthcare agency of its kind\, we ensure that all those in ou
 r community who need our care receive it. Our services are c
 overed by Medicare\, Medicaid\, private health insurances and 
 our Good Neighbor Fund. Regardless of ability to pay\, if a 
 patient qualifies for our services\, we will care for them. T
 he ConnectionsPlus 40th Anniversary Gala Celebration will b
 e held on June 8\, 2024\, but you do not have to be present to
  participate in the silent auction. A few notes about the au
 ction: Bidding is open now! The auction will begin to close 
 at 6:30 pm on June 8\, 2024\, with 2 lots closed per minute. T
 here will be a 1-minute auto-extension. Credit cards on file
  will be charged at the conclusion of the auction. A 4% cred
 it card convenience fee will be added to all purchases. If y
 ou are not attending the Gala and bidding remotely\, items wi
 ll be available for pick up on Monday\, following the auction
